What was the inspiration for launching Digital Closure.org?
Digital Closure.org was established to assist individuals responsible for managing a loved one’s estate. Normally, family members only deal with one or two estates at most in their lifetime. By the time the estate is settled, they realize how much they wish they had known from the start. Digital Closure.org reduces this challenging learning curve.
What Digital Closure.org is not
Digital Closure.org is not legal, financial, or medical advice. We always recommend consulting the appropriate legal parties for your specific situation and jurisdiction. View the footer at the bottom of every page for more information.
What Digital Closure.org is
Digital Closure.org offers consulting using two different services combined in one product:
Estate Resources
Digital Closure.org provides consulting through 4 checklists and 18 worksheets that streamline the entire process from passing through closing the estate. We offer suggestions every step of the way.
We also assist with time-sensitive tasks that help protect the estate, such as informing credit bureaus, banks, and credit card accounts, which decreases the risk of identity theft.
Our basic outline offers essential selections for most small to medium-sized estates, which typically require only a few, if any, of our 18 worksheets. Using more of our documentation, Digital Closure.org can also accommodate more complex estates.
Checklist input forms and worksheets with estate information can be recorded electronically and downloaded or printed and filled out by hand. Either way, you control all personal information.
Online Account Closures
Digital Closure.org also assists in the closure of over 300 different online accounts, including social media, email, streaming services, communication, travel, and much more. Estates decide which accounts to request closure and we process the requests. There is no need for estates to navigate all of the complex online closing procedures. We make all closure requests on behalf of the estate that are possible. Some accounts, such as financial institutions, require direct involvement by the estate manager. We provide all possible assistance through this process as well.
