Digital Closure provides association members with tools to organize estate documents, accounts, and related responsibilities before they are needed. Members receive six months of immediate access for planning ahead, plus another six months at the time of passing to help protect the estate from identity theft, close accounts, manage social media, and handle estate tasks. All organizational documents are downloaded and stored by the member for offline access whenever needed.

Basic organizers typically provide document storage, account lists, or a few general planning prompts. Digital Closure includes four detailed checklists and 18 guided worksheets covering financial accounts, debts, insurance, retirement benefits, property, vehicles, beneficiaries, dependents, important documents, required notifications, and other estate responsibilities. Together, these resources create a structured system for organizing information and managing tasks from planning ahead through estate closure.
GUIDANCE FOR MORE THAN 300 ONLINE PLATFORMS
Most services provide account-closing instructions or assistance for only a select few, if any, online platforms. Digital Closure submits closure or memorialization requests on behalf of the estate for more than 300 online platforms. This combines broad, platform-specific guidance with practical steps, helping families close online accounts, manage social media, and address the deceased’s digital presence without the family having to contact each platform individually.
ESTATE FINANCIAL AND IDENTITY PROTECTION
Legacy services often focus on preserving memories, storing documents, or transferring digital assets, but may offer limited help in protecting the estate after death. Digital Closure provides practical steps for notifying credit reporting agencies, reviewing recurring charges, securing personal information, and reducing the risk of unauthorized charges, fraudulent transactions, and the misuse of the deceased’s identity while estate responsibilities are being completed.
OFFLINE DOCUMENT ACCESS AND CONTROL
Online vault services may require continued platform access or ongoing subscription payments. Digital Closure allows members to download their completed organizational documents and store them securely in a location of their choosing. The documents remain available for offline use whenever needed, giving members and their estates greater control over access, privacy, storage, and long-term retention.
