Reporting to Government Agencies
The passing of a loved one must be
reported to government agencies to
update records, transfer benefits,
and prevent legal or financial issues.

Funeral providers usually complete
mandatory notifications, but there
may be additional notifications
to address, especially if the
deceased was a veteran or
cremated without further services.

What You Get

Estate Guidance

Digital Closure.org provides consulting through 4 checklists and 18 worksheets that streamline the entire process from passing through closing the estate. We offer suggestions every step of the way. We also assist with time-sensitive tasks that help protect the estate, such as informing credit bureaus, banks, and credit card accounts, which decreases the risk of identity theft. Checklist input forms and worksheets with estate information can be recorded electronically and downloaded or printed and filled out by hand. Either way, you control all personal information.

Online Account Closures

Digital Closure.org also assists in the closure of over 300 different online accounts, including social media, email, streaming services, communication, travel, and much more. Estates decide which accounts to request closure and we process the requests. There is no need for estates to navigate all of the complex online closing procedures. We make all closure requests on behalf of the estate that are possible. Some accounts, such as financial institutions, require direct involvement by the estate manager. We provide all possible assistance through this process as well.
